Created with shards of Ming dynasty Chinese ceramics and dark blue dumortierite from Brazil, this piece features a hand-carved face and motifs in buffalo bone. Her headdress is adorned with two small pieces of Murano glass, a shard of ancient Roman glass, and a lapis lazuli stone. The work is set in silver and brass and displayed on a teak wood stand.
